France Road Trip LEZ Questions
Discussion
Looking for some advice please.
Wife and I are planning on taking the Cerbera round the Alsace region of France and down to Annecy but it seems that the French have introduced a LEZ scheme that covers Annecy and Strasbourg and some other towns and Cities we would like to visit.
Are these rigorously enforced for non French cars or how do I comply with a 23 year old V8 that never met any emission standard anywhere.
It would be a shame if we have to miss out the major towns on out trip or not go at all due to this.

I’ve never bothered with these crit air stickers and nothing has ever happened.
Anyone been stopped? Had something through the post?
Neither have I in the past so I guess I will continue that way.Anyone been stopped? Had something through the post?
How the hell are you supposed to know if the pollution levels are high driving towards a town?

If you download the Green Zones app, once you've registered your vehicle with Crit Air the app will list which areas you're allowed into. How well it's all enforced I've no idea but if you've got a Euro 4 barge like me then it's handy for plotting alternative routes.
Thank you, I will take a look.Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
