At least the courier was honest...shame the dog didn't hold his end of the deal.

Tbh the buyer in broken English (would appear to be Spanish) seems ok about it and suggests I contact the couriers.

I personally find it hilarious that someone who managed to fill in an application form to get a job, and has a driving license (one would presume!) considers a dog to be a suitable recipient for a package delivered on a secure/signed courier service.

Barking mad wink

I've yet to find a well priced courier that doesnt employ cowboys, I've had packages delivered to me with no card left , items left in a previously locked gas cabinet, left in the garden in the rain.

But I've never had a card left with such honesty!

I find it most amazing that on e-bay you managed to sell an old stick, a busted football and a ripped faux-leather folder of some sort.
Only item sold on eBay was a genuine leather iPad case - clearly the dog thought it was lunch

Well it'll be collect+ in the dog house for it wink

Royal mail special delivery from memory is more expensive - collect+ send jiffy back for 3.95 and packages upto 5kg for £5.

Shame they feed them to dogs!

Still no reply from collect+ (I might have also posted it into their twitter feed)

Also emailed the buyer asking for pictures of the dog - in case collect+ want to identify the pup-ertrator wink

Collectplus have finally got back to me (having retweeted the photos on twitter presuming it was a joke lol)

Apparently the throw it over the fence trick is a rare occurance and they will be having a word with the courier in question.

I might even get some money back so that i dont end up out of pocket when i refund my buyer.

I'm currently doing some agency work and some of it has been driving/delivering for a medium sized courier. The behaviour described in this thread baffles me as I'd never do any of it! Even as 'just an agency driver' I'm still a representative and do all I can to ensure I conduct deliveries in the way I would want them to be for myself.
Just think how many more drops (and therefore I would presume pay) you'd manage by just launching parcels over fences! Infact I dare say on half of all jobs you could do this from a vans sliding door lol
