Biggest shock becoming a father

I'm due to become a Dad for the first time in 10 weeks time and was wondering what the biggest shock was for the Dad's of PH?

I'm really looking forward to the emotional "switch" when he's born. The worrying thing is that I can't stand sick and st, so I've got some "interesting" times ahead

Yeah, that's a concern. We've got pretty much everything we need so should he decide to make an early appearance we should be cool.

I've heard it said a few times lately that you don't realise how much free time you had until you have kids, I can't wait

I've always been one to wake up early so that side of things doesn't worry me, it's the HAVING to get up that does

We seem to have managed to get everything we need for less than I thought but we consider ourselves "ready"

Unfortunately I'm not a company Director, just a lowly forum janitor.

Childcare costs are a concern and we will need to weigh up our options when the time comes, luckily my other ½ has a lot of friends locally that have kids, we've spoken to one of them about her becoming a registered child minder.

I've already decided he will come to a racetrack with me before his 1st birthday. I'm really looking forward to making memories with him. I have some great memories from when I was around 5 or 6 that are still really vivid now.
