Flew from Los Angeles today and had two very nice and interesting people sat next to me.
The very beautiful lady to my left was Patricia Ward Kelly, Wife of the late Gene Kelly movie and dancing legend.
The guy to my right was K C Collins best known for his roll in 'Lost Girls' and all round friendly chap.

4 hours of relaxed conversation with a little insight into what Gene Kelly was like.

Sometimes travelling can be very enjoyable.

Cheers,
Tony

So - what WAS Gene Kelly really like?
All round good guy, very charitable and very athletic.
He developed his style of dancing because he wanted something that the US could call its own compared to the Fred Astaire European Ballroom or latin.

I guess its natural to leave out any negatives when your talking about your late husband.
She was on her way to do a show in Toronto where she shows video's of him dancing and talks about the details behind the performance.
Heading to London sometime but haven't checked her web site.

May I ask which flight you were on?

ETA: I've just realised that maybe you didn't fly back to the UK.
