I'm not talking about niche stuff, or being the PM.

What normal jobs do you admire and think you'd be rubbish at?

For me a couple spring to mind. Firstly the police. I would be incredibly frustrated by their "customers" nowadays and admire their patience dealing with the dregs of society that really don't care about others. Talking to a cousin who's a police officer on the beat, the daily grind mostly involves drugs related crime and domestic violence. I don't think I'd be cut out for that.

Secondly, and a little lighter - airline check in staff at 5AM. I'm a miserable bugger at any time, so early in the morning and dealing with stressed and tetchy people - no thanks!

I'd so agree with you there.

Can you imagine? First thing Monday doing that?

No thanks.
A total inability to have a 'bad monday morning', being a bit hungover, letting your personal life impact your job performance. Very true, i'd dread that.

When I have a bad morning in my current job, I can just defer the stuff I do, or turn up to the meetings and not be quite as competent.

Not really a normal job I suppose, but I absolutely couldn't be a submariner.
Why not? I dislike people, rarely get out, and like repetitive tasks!
