Mine was probably making the long trek to Newcastle as a schoolboy watching City beat Newcastle 4-3 to clinch the (old) first division championship in May 1968. Still remember it like yesterday.

Watching my daughter walk for the first time. That was elation.

I watched my granddaughter walk for the first time last month.

It probably just about equals City beating Newcastle in 1968
