I pay for prime. This isn't what I expect. Good job that I wasn't at home...

Anyone else had this? It's been escalated to management.

Your Nest cam is good enough to clearly identify the driver & the name and phone number of the "courier" service.

Pretty good.
I was impressed with the clarity and I can zoom in for a nice blown up mugshot haha

I don't blame the driver. Amazon set unrealistic targets and 'promote' fast sloppy delivery practices...

I've never seen anything that highlights the good points of working for Amazon at any point in the chain, warehouse, delivery driver etc.
Regardless... You don't blame the driver? Thank god you arent important....? !

If that's your video you could easily sell it to one of the rags for a few hundred quid if you cared. And stay anonymous. You could get even more if you were willing to have your name and compo face plastered all over it.
Good shout! 😊

It was only a USB headphone connector but you know what made me laugh, shortly after this I received a message from amazon saying "we thought you might like a new phone".... Er no chance after this

Used them hundreds of times since 2004 and never had a similar experience - most drivers are even polite and friendly.
I very much agree! Usually they leave things in my parcel box safely.

How do you know he isn't important?

He might be the regional manager of a matress wholesaler, or HR director in a plastics company, or a PR consultant to the cosmetic jewellery industry... This is Pistonheads you know! We're not all work shy NHS doctors or University research scientists here you know!!

(I do agree that the delivery driver is a plonker though)
No staff should do this no matter what their pressures. They don't give a flying fk. Clearly not a job for them.
And if I was his boss I'm afraid I wouldn't give him a second chance.

Nice selective quoting there. It was cml24 that you implied wasn't important, not the delivery driver.
My point to the op was hopefully he didn't hold a position of responsibility and 'manage' staff. It was said tongue in cheek. Grow up.

I would suggest you 'grow up' by not relying on petty perceived social differences in order to make a point (with which I, coincidentally, in this instance agree). It just makes you sound like a bit of a 'Captain Mainwaring' style buffoon.
Social differences? And your reply is what exactly?? Go away.

We had an Amazon delivery last week. The driver reversed into my wife’s car at speed. Then fked off.. tt.
We have good CCTV though and I’m currently progressing it through insurers.
Unmarked van though and no real way of tracing the driver except reg. number.
Did it do much damage?? Wow

Inherent in your reply to cml24, irrespective of his assertion, is that you perceive yourself to be be more 'imporant' than he is, and this should somehow augment your argument.

Pray tell, what is it that you do that is so important to our society? What role do you fulfill that makes you so confident that you automatically assume that someone who disagrees with you is somehow less important?

I realise I'm rather labouring this now, but I just cant it ire such wanton idiocy.

Its marketing isn't it.
