Well not as such but this is going to be quite a dull thread so I thought I'd liven it up with a fun title.

Basically, one of our customers left a large and fairly expensive item at our work and has never come back to claim it. The problem is that we don't know which customer. (we get quite a few.) It was left with us at least six months ago and is cluttering up the store room a bit. The boss would like me to pop it on eBay for some extra funds but I don't want them then turning up asking for it back. (whoever they are.)

How long till we can claim rightful deed, earn our bounty and then set sail for the Spanish Main! Agrh!

See told you it was dull.

That's what I told the boss but he seems to think that if its been on your premesis for over six months it counts as lost property. We also have never given it to the police as the item involved is so massive that we honestly thought that the people would notice and come back for it. To be frank, can't believe they haven't.

Not telling what it is as I don't want this thread becoming a "I've lost one those, where do you work thread?" smile

Lets just say its not brand new, has seen a hard life and might worth about £70.00. New I think they are about £190-£250.

But I guess we'll be handing it in to the BiB anyway.
