Ive just broken up with my boyfiend of three years because of a girl that he met once and added him on facebook.

Just wondering how facebook can be a good thing for relationships cause in my case it destroyed it - Has anyone else had any bad experiences of the dreaded facebook?

No we didnt split because he added a girl on facebook - im not not that petty

Yes i dumped him because of not being able to trust him and it turns out i was right as he is now in a relationship with this girl less than 2 weeks after we split!

Its all pretty raw to be honest.

Anyway I was wondering how many realtionships have been ruined because a person that without facebook would have been met once and forgotten then manages to find the person on facebook and things get out of control

Of course I had evidence thats the reason i broke up with him not just because of facebook

All im trying to say is in the past relationships may have worked better because the temptation was restricted by not being able to track someone down after meeting them once until technology was introduced to find old friends and flames.

Yes my relationship was doomed anyway, i'm not expecting sympathy and I was expecting the usual PH banter. smile

I expect alot of relationships have ended because of one partner contacting or being contacted by an ex and restarting something that was meant to have been left in the past.

I old enough not to be having teenage flings anymore!!

Yes he was a cheating lying bd and I found out, yes the relationship was coming to an end and I fully admit that no problem but it is blown out of proportion with everybody knowing everybody elsed lives due to technology and the ease which people can contact new and old flames.
