Apologies if it's out of order posting links to your own ebay items but this is quite an interesting one.

censored

It may be the wrong decision, but there we go!

ETA

It is. smile

I was given it by someone who I am no longer in contact with. He had had it a couple of years in the same locked condition. He never told me where it came from.

Sorry,

You are selling an unopened safe AND a drill...

Anyone see what I'm thinking?
I've also got oxy acetylene, but decided it would be fun to auction it!

Turn the safe upside down, then try unlocking it again.
Done all that, been banging it around for a year!

I was talking to someone in the pub last night who'd cut one open a few years ago.

(Not sure of the circumstances!)

He said it was hard work, sand sandwiched between layers of steel.

Tried the classic Brainiac/Top Gear method of dropping it from a great height?
I've bumped it around, turned it upside down and on its back etc.

The only way for me to open it would be to cut it open I think.

I could open it if I wanted to, I have oxy-acetylene, grinders, a plasma cutter etc etc.

That's not the point!

Well it's on 40 odd quid now, so I'm afraid the answer is no.

Like the idea though!

Mr Jones, you simply cannot come on here professing to be able to open the safe and refusing to do so.

We are a bunch of red meat eating men. We do stuff like this for fun. We fix stuff, play with gadgets, break stuff, build stuff and do not, under any circumstances, post on here that we are not going to open the safe. wink

What you should be posting is 'I have come across this safe. What is the cheapest and best way to open it?'

Stop being such an effeminate faggot and get your hands dirty.
hehe
Do you really?

IMO, i think the OP knows whats in it.
You just think this is a better way to get some more cash out of it instead of scrapping it!
I have a paypal, if PH'ers want to chuck a £1 in each i don't mind bidding on it for you all.
Well the truth is exactly as I have put it in the Ebay ad.

I really and truthfully have no idea what is in it.

It was going to be cut open and scrapped a few days ago until I hit on this idea.

And you won't believe this either, but I really hope it's full of diamonds for the winning bidder.

Winning bidder will be here to collect his safe in 10 mins.

It made £67 in the end, best of luck to him!
