Phat Fighters Q2
Discussion
Starting a new thread for Q2.
If you want, and hopefully not treading on Vocal Minorities toes (i noticed you dropped off from posting on the original thread VM...) I will keep track for Q2.
1st April to 30th June.
My own aim is to reach 80kg and maintain at that.
As of end of Q1, my starting point for Q2 is 87.5kg.
I'll aim to tabulate weekly.
Get your starting weights in folks...

OK then chaps, keep signing up.
For record keeping any weight that get puts in this thread this week will be your starting weight, and I'll assign it against 1st April.
I'll update weekly, but I'm actually on holiday next week so first update will be in about 10 days time, but after that weekly.
Now to work out how to post tables up into this thread - suppose I'll have to sign up to photobucket?

Well seeing as I tailed off at the end of Q1, I've decided drastic action is needed. Joined a gym last week and feeling like I need the extra motivation have signed up to do the local half marathon in 3 weeks, sounds a bit daft but I did a half last year with very little training and this time around I'm more motivated and a little fitter.
I am down to 87.1kg from Q1.
let me know your target for the end of the quarter (i.e June 30th) so I can provide statsI am down to 87.1kg from Q1.
As i noted earlier in the thread, i'll be on easter holiday with the kids next week so won't be able to update score keeping.
but i will do a quick update on saturday evening if anyone who is already in want to post an update, otherwise you'll have to wait until the middle of the week after.

Argghh, 14.10 again, if this was a competition for being the exact same weight every single day, I would be in with a shout.
Feeling leaner but the scale doesnt move and neither are the body fat and muscle things on it, am feeling pretty lean (by my standards) so fairly happy but been the same weight for a month or so now, it was coming off steadily from September, then boom, abrupt stop, do three days on 2k calories or not much more, cycle to work, go to the gym, walk the dog etc, and nothing, 13 and a half almost seems further away than it did at 18 stone !
Just had two rounds of toast with Nutella on and a big sulk
tell me about it, i've gone up slightly this week. UP! Eating the same meals I eat every week. And I'm on holiday next week, where I have given myself the week off, so i'll be drinking and eting as I please. I was hoping this week would see me lose a kg to compoensate for next weeks gain!
I'm back from holiday so will start working on a weekly update tonight. Can someone give me pointers on how I can upload pictures so they are viewable here? I looked at the formatting for tables directly in a post and it looks like a right old faff, so my plan was to take screenshots and post them up on a image hosting site.
I expect my weight to have gone up quite a lot when I weight in tonight - I've drunk alcohol every day since last monday. And been free and easy with snacks. I was on holiday, I worked towards it knowing that would happen so i know its coming. it will be interesting to see how much has gone on though.
And this weekend my sister-in-law is staying over with her husband and baby, so i'll be drinking to cope with that

Heres the first update. I'm a bit dissapointed to have put on 3.4Kg in the last 10 days, but like i said above it was all planned in really.
I've made a table and a chart to track everyones progress.
Colour coding:
1) Orange in either starting weight or target weight means you haven't stated that info yet.
2) Red/green in last update column is whether you have updated thread in last 14 days.
3) Read/green in loss/gain columns...obvious!
The graph shows your loss/gain versus time as a percentage of your target loss amount (e.g taking J4CKOs numbers he wants a total loss of 7.7KG and has currently managed 0.5KG, so he's at 6% loss so far). The dashed line indicates the rate you need to lose at to hit your target by the end of the quarter. If your line is above the dash, you are ahead of target, if you're below you are behind schedule. Pete102 and Fredastaire must try harder!
The big chart might get a bit busy to pick out your trend - if you want your own plotted thats fine, tip me the wink. In the meantime, I've also added a mini trendline for each persons weight in the table.
Let me know if you have troubles with legibility and I'll increase the size of the text, or change colours as necessary.

Feel a bit crap at the moment, think its the result of eating crap to be honest.
Likewise, at the risk of sounding like a born-again ex smoker, since I've been phat fighting I really feel it when I eat badly or drink alcohol. Literally overnight I feel Wobblier in the muffin top.Anyway, I'm up and down like a tarts knickers as you'll see when I put the chart up later in the week.

Yeah, it will,
My issue in the past in that I would go daft at weekend and not that careful through the week, as it is at the moment I go up from 14.8 to 14.10 over the weekend and then back down, in the past I was less careful through the week so it used to creep up.
Anyway, I have decided, from June 1st am going for it, no booze, hammer the gym, no crap until I get to my target weight, am so close now, only a stone to drop, have got too comfortable at this weight but I am not finished, not ready to just maintain, will give me nine weeks until we go away, should be able to get a stone off by then and keep up with the gym, did a booze free month for Jan, wonder if I can do nine weeks, cant see why not.
i'm with you. been much too ill-disciplined since i went on holiday. creeping back to drinking all three weekend nights (yes, sunday night as well), need to do another dry month, or six weeks to kick. Holiday in August, means new holiday clothes and I want to buy medium! My issue in the past in that I would go daft at weekend and not that careful through the week, as it is at the moment I go up from 14.8 to 14.10 over the weekend and then back down, in the past I was less careful through the week so it used to creep up.

Still hovering at the same weight, go up a bit at weekend and back down in the week but from the 1st of June, no booze for eight weeks and going to refocus my training efforts, the last push to get down to my goal weight, dont think I can do it with booze in the equation, managed Jan without any so should be fine.
i'm going dry for June. Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
