Does anyone know anything about stair lifts?
My 90 year old MiL is becoming more mobile and for all sorts of good reasons, doesn't want to go into a nursing home. She has a steep set of stairs at home (no bend in them) and I was wondering a rough cost of getting a stair lift and from which company.
Cheers for the replies.... this is in Surrey, near to Camberley.
It's from the hallway up a narrow and steep staircase - a straight run.
I could tell from some Googling that it's a bit of a shark pool - it seems these national companies are, as someone commented above, a bit like double glazing sales people. That's why I wanted to ask here as I don't fancy giving my email and phone details out to sales people.
