Phat Fighters Q4
Discussion
Well its the first of October on Sunday.
So if you want to track Q4 do it here.
I think I might change the tabulation for Q4 as the way I have been doing it in Q2 and Q3 makes it difficult to accommodate newcomers that aren't in within the first few days of the quarter.
Dreadful Q2 and Q3 for me. I'm determined to have a great Q4. Its a slightly truncated quarter really. I'm going to call time on it in the few days before christmas (cos we're all going to have plenty of mince pies, celebrations and quality street in the last week of the quarter).
So lets have a concerted effort so our shirts fit nicely for Christmas party season...

Good stuff looking forward to following long a should blow the target you set me, out of the water. Perfect day yesterday diet wise and went to my Sambo class last night to get thrown around. An added bonus on the scales this morning already dropped 4lb, happy days!
don't just go with my target - theres no sandbagging here! Give me your real target for the quarter....Defcon5 said:
Should we weigh in once a week fir the spreadsheet or doesn't it matter?
as little or as often as you want. I'll aim to put up a refreshed table every week. I was hit and miss with it in Q3 because I had fallen off the wagon.I have another tab of the sheet where i record my own weight on a daily basis. Many people say you shouldn't record daily due to the fluctuations (being potentially demoralising i suppose) and that once a week is enough. I prefer to see daily so I don't get a big disappointment at the end of a week (sometimes you just get seemingly static weeks!), and also i like to plot trendlines, extrapolations etc towards certain dates.
Anyway, what I mean by above is - I come on pistonheads pretty much daily, and I have my own weight tracking sheet open pretty much daily so i can include as much data as you like in the charts, just i won't post updates of it more than once a week.
Well behaved week from me meaning on Saturday evening I was a kilo down for the week. saturday evening I had a sausage sandwich for dinner. And on Sunday evening I was exacltly back to where I started the week.
So thats a week with no alcohol, sweets, crisps, snacks or anything "bad" except sausages in a sandwich on saturday night and theres been no shift in weight.

I weigh in every morning after the usual first call to the bathroom. Weighing in everyday probably seems overkill to a lot, but the fluctuations on a day to day basis give you an idea that one minute the body is up the next is down, you could have just been unlucky! Its best to get into a daily regime, don't get disheatened by one weigh in! Keep at it, I certainly had a sausage last week!
I weigh daily too, at a specific time and like you just after an....."evacuation". I expect to be down a bit tonight again, and aiming for at least 1.5 down from last nights weight by friday nights weigh in.Had dinner at the Ritz on Saturday night, so plenty of rich food and booze (not to mention hotel breakfast the next morning) meant I was static for the week.
Ah well, booze and fun free until christmas holidays now, which is 8.5 weeks and hopefully therefore 8.5kg.
Heres the update - next week we'll be a little over three weeks in and so I'll put up the chart as well as the table.

Fred, I'm monthly not weekly but would like to be on the thingy please?
79.3 kg this morning, it's tiny amounts but it's also starting to feel like a proper sustained loss now. More or less stopped eating between meals.
Sorry, I wasn't excluding you on purpose - I just missed your first post in the thread, and now its back on page 1 I wouldnt have noticed unless you said something so its a good job you piped up.79.3 kg this morning, it's tiny amounts but it's also starting to feel like a proper sustained loss now. I am now 3.2 kg up on Saturday. How?
what scales are you using to weigh yourself, and are they in the same place every time? Same clothes? Same time of day?I weigh myself every day (despite people saying its bad for morale, what with daily fluctutations, but it suits me so whatever) but I make sure that I use the same scales, in the same position on the bathroom floor, at give or take the same time of day, wearing give or take the same clothes (vest and pants!).
Come on folks, final push towards to christmas - hardest time of the year isn't it , shops are full of temptations and plenty of christmas parties etc to distract us.
Give it a final push for the fortnight week, and give yourselves a deserved break over christmas!
Looks like only crumpet with a chance of hitting the quarters target, but lets not let our heads go down.
