For a few years now I've found myself tensing my legs and stomach whilst asleep. The kind of act you might make yourself when you wake and stretch. I also regularly get cramp in my legs and feet, which I'm guessing is often caused by the tensing. Anyone experience anything like this?
I can't believe this is the reason but I did wonder if it's a subconscious thing to do with a serious car crash I was in 12 years ago. I don't appear bothered about the crash, but I wondered whether it can be relived while asleep.

Drinking enough?

When I’ve been working on my feet a lot and not drank much I get similar.
That's an interesting thought. On an average day I'll drink about four mugs of coffee and a glass of wine. Any other fluids will only be in my food.
That actually doesn't sound like much does it? I'm just not a thirsty person!

I find that I wake up doing this as well. It is not a cramp thing, It is as if I am flexing the muscles in both legs like I am posing ??
That's it. It's like you're stamping on the brakes, which is why I wondered originally whether it was connected to my big crash 12 years ago!

I'll start by trying to drink more water and checking out which foods contain the magnesium etc.

Urine chart below:

Where do you normally sit OP?
I would say on an average day I'd be fair-dehydrated on that chart.
