The purpose of this topic is to lose weight, get in shape and receive a few rollickings from our resident taskmaster, Tyresmoke.

Add your name to the list by posting your intent to participate and include your starting weight. Add any other info you like such as a goal etc. Try to post updated weights once a week on a Saturday and I will continue to edit this post to add subsequent weights. Original weights will remain in brackets.

Love it.

Hope it all works out, are you going to follow a training plan?

You’ve got plenty of time but I’d say some structure to avoid injury would be very useful?

To me the risk is overdoing it and knackering yourself on the way.

I can't speak for @sheetsmaself but a training plan will probably improve chances of success

April 1st. Loser sends the winner a kitkat, chunky.
You're on. Get a weigh scales photo up in the next few days/week mind, so i know you're not already 75kg and planning on eating lots wink

(if you are 75kg, ask a 103kg friend to stand there instead) wink

ok lads (i assume we are all lads..any ladies stand up and be counted) I've added a list at the beginning of the thread with weights.

I'll add anyone else in post number 1 that gives the thumbs up as we go along.

If you can post a monthly weight update (last few days of the month) , I can add these figures following the initial weigh in.

GAME ON

Good start. I did just under 4 miles with the dog earlier and half hour on zwift tonight (FTP test). Made scrambled egg with prawns for dinner (Foo Yung style) and myfitnesspal estimates 1291 calories consumed today, 1000 burnt during the day. Am hungry now tho!
so is 4 miles.... biggrin

I'm also hungry, even after my cheese and biscuits wink

Can anyone help with food ideas? Ideally things that I can cook on a rest day and take to work. Maybe three days worth. I have access to a fridge and a microwave at work.

Not helped by I’m a fussy eater. I struggle with certain foods due to the texture. Weird I know!

Onions, mushrooms and tomatoes aren’t possible.

I’m actually thinking just some chicken/beef cooked how I like it and some veg as I know I like it and it’s easy to do.
ive been enjoying the big M for lunch, often may i add too.
