Took a thorn out of my thumb earlier this afternoon with a old sewing needle and now said thumb is extreamly warm and my arm aches, have i just killed myself?

I knew I shouldnt have asked on here, Having had recent expierence of A&E I dont really wanna go.

I dont want to be the wally that over reacts over nothing and holds up treatment for someone that does need it.
Gonna pop some alcohol cleaner over it and pop it some cold water then see what happens.

No, unfortunately im not a powerfully built directer so I have to go and do 8 hours real work a day during the week. Im still physically on the planet.
