Lotus Owned Evoras

Hi guys, just wondering if I can pick your brains:

Have Evoras that are being disposed of by Lotus themselves been used on Lotus track days at the factory i.e. used and abused?

I ask because I'm considering purchasing one which was 'owned' by one of their regional sales guys.

Or would it just be extremely well maintained?

Any help much appreciated.

I test drove the car yesterday, and it all seemed to be very much like you guys predicted.

It was indeed a high mileage vehicle. Fully specced, March 2012 (not the new interior), but already with 12,500 miles on the clock. I was hoping that this fact would have made it much cheaper than the £46K they wanted.

As I'd already seen 2011 cars with only 2,000 miles on the clock for £42,500, I reluctantly passed.

Anyone know of a low mileage, fully specced, black Evora S, 19/20" wheels, red paprika for circa 40K????

Yeah, the only MY12 upgrade it had was the improved gear change cable.

I'll definitely check over at the Lotus Forum.
