Evora poor aerial problems
Discussion
I have read several posts regarding the extremely poor radio (Alpine W920R) reception of the Lotus Evora and it appears that the cause is the aerial and its location. I have tried some of the suggestions but none give any noticeable improvement.
What is the solution to this problem? Has anyone tried the Tune Trapper ( http://www.tunetrapper.com/Hidden_Car_Antennas.htm... ) as it appears to be made for Fibreglass cars and boats. If so where did you locate it and did it improve reception.
I have even fitted an Alpine TUE-DAB1U additional DAB receiver but I am struggling with the aerial; I have tried two Alpine internal windscreen antennas but the reception is very patchy and no real improvement over the FM radio. For comparison I have own a Lexus RX450H with a factory fitted DAB radio and the reception is perfect wherever I go.
I would be grateful for any suggestions on how to resolve my aerial problems with both FM and DAB radio reception??
