Lots of people interviewed on breakfast news this morning complaining about owners, how it's a tragedy the club is going under.

Average attendance last season - 3.8k.

Ground capacity - 11.5k.

Perhaps if some more 'loyal' locals went to games, they wouldn't be in this position.
The trouble with Bury (and Stockport and Rochdale) is they are too near City and United, Bury's gates have always been very low, around the 2,500 mark, whereas Burnley, not too far away used to pull in 11,000 even when they were in the lower divisions years ago.

Bury have a very hard core of loyal fans to be fair, I'm desperately sorry for them.

Stockport always played on a Friday Night which helped them, as some City & United fans used to go.

I can't really see why anyone with lots of money would be interested in buying Bury, unless they have very strong links to the town, they certainly won't make any money I wouldn't have thought.
