Spec-D, 98k.... £4995? Blimey!

I knew these were the black sheep of the Hawkeye STIs but there is so much value in them. I've seen one today with a shade under 98k on the clock for a completely insane price. My old 50k Hawkeye STI never missed a beat and with full history this Spec-D may well be worth having a look at.

Surely there is something a miss here...?

They are generally 15% cheaper than regular STIs despite having more kit. I'd say offering £4500 would secure that car with a warranty of some sorts but as above, buying it and sorting the headgaskets and pistons will essentially future proof the car for another 100k.

If I had 5k handy I'd get it, get a warranty and drive it until it exploded. So much car for the money and besides, 100k on a 07 car is all motorways so it's had an easy life id say.
