Is there anywhere else apart from Chandlers at Horncastle or the (relatively new) place out at Louth?

Also... does anyone know what the 'B' means that has appeared in the display beside the odometer reading? Is this service related?

TIA

Thanks for the replies. I've rung Chandlers in Horncastle and they are wanting £520 for a full service and cambelt change. The car is six years old, but it's only done 25k miles, so I'm a bit tempted to take a gamble on giving the belt change a miss. As a fairly new Scoob owner, would I be making a mistake here and do cambelts really live only six years?

Hmm... what to do...

Hi Ved. Last March I bought an Impreza R Sport 2L AWD Automatic from KT Green near Leeds. I don't do massive milage (about 9k a year approx). It is an 07 plate (6 years old) with now 25k on the clock (was 16k when I bought it).

Anyway, I don't live in Leeds, so original dealer is not practical for me to go back to for servicing. According to its service book, it has all the stamps up to date, but I have no bills showing actual work schedules.

Car has run like a dream since the day I got it and I want to keep it that way for a few more years as I cannot afford to go changing it any time soon.

I am therefore wondering if it's worth taking a gamble and leaving the cambelt till next year, or x number of miles, as it is costly to do it. On the other hand, the car hasn't cost me a penny in maintenance since the day I bought it, so I wouldn't be out of pocket given what I've forked out on previous dodgy cars I've owned (yes, you, Honda!)

Thanks for that link Tom. Unfortunately the West Midlands are a bit of a trip away from Lincoln! I already take my Smart Brabus Roadster to Cumbria for work/servicing so I don't think I want to start that with the Scoob too LOL.
