WRX, WRX-S, or JDM WRX & how bad are the 2.5's

Hello,

Forgive me if I've missed the thread but can anyone confirm if the afflictions for the 2.5 are confined to the STi's and the lower tuned WRX's are broadly ok?
I seem to find alot of threads with people talking about their STi falling to bits but nothing on the WRX's.

If I sell the Skyline my budget could cover JDM WRX (with the 2.0) would it better to go for that than anything from the UK Market? I might be able to get a WRX-S.

Thanks chaps, shame as I quite liked the look of the hatches and the price I'd get for the Skyline wouldn't cover a forged one
