Talk to me about Imported Legacy's

Eveneing all.

After some advice on a Leggy im interested in. well 2 actually. but both are the same GT Twinscroll turbo .

Both are grey imports from Japan and obviously come with very little/no history so I'm after advice on service schedules like cambelt and water pump changes.

The one I'm hoping to see this weekend doesn't have an advert other than a facebook local listing. Guy has owned it for about 3 yrs and has covered 10k in that time with it. is sitting at just over 74,000 miles but he's never had a cam belt done on it and claims it isn't due until 2020/21?

Just after basic owners advice on imports on what to look for/be wary of. never had one before but really like the looks of these, havent driven one yet but hear they handle like a dream

was just about to head over there!

I'd read something about running on 99ron, but also saw that they can be mapped to run on either? some are done when imported.

Also been warned against the 3.0 due to costs and chocolate engine??

Defblade. I’ve genuinely been eyeing this up since you first listed it. Unfortunately I’m not at the price your asking was ,my budget is ever decreasing with the mrs car/life/renovations eating up chunks of it and I hate being the guy who chucks in a lowball offer as I think it automatically makes the seller frustrated and sceptical about the validity of the proposed buyer.

How is it living with an import if you don’t mind me asking? Did you try an NA one before this, how’d they stack up if so?
How’s the exhaust sound? Does it still have that distinct boxer sound as YouTube vids are not that clear/great showing it off.
