water soluble or similar tacky
Discussion
Can anyone suggest any ideas on making a tacky that would be both extremely sticky and easy to get off.
Currently I use either tacky from retailers or leg wax, both require white spirit/baby oil to get off and even then it's still a bd to get off.
Or any products out there like this?
It would be used for atlas stones like in the pic

Have you tried using something like acetone to help remove the residues? A more polar solvent is probably better than non-polar (white-spirit type) solvents.
When I came back from the hospital and had loads of those sticky pad things stuck on me from an ECG, I used ethyl acetate (nail polish remover) to help soften the glue.
Helps if you can get some good agitation in there too.
If you can get hold of a chlorinated solvent (dichloromethane for example) that might also be good...
Yeh i've used a few things, all work but not 100% perfectly. When I came back from the hospital and had loads of those sticky pad things stuck on me from an ECG, I used ethyl acetate (nail polish remover) to help soften the glue.

I'll try other stuff that you've mentioned but hoping for a alternative to it
A lot of the lads are getting fed up of it too as it's so much hassle. Only positive is it helps a lot!
