Easiest way to measure for custom filters?
Discussion
Hi guys,
After modifiying my RX7's engine I find that two pipes on the current intake are now redundant. I am thinking a 45 degree silicone coupling off the hard pipe and a K&N cone or cylinder filter would be much better in terms of fitment and weight.
However how does one go about measuring the size? Is it just a case of making a mock filter out of some rolled card and seeing if it fits?
Here is the space I am dealing with, I am debating on doing the same with the filter below as well.
