Low profile trolly jack
Discussion
I require a new jack, my cheapo ECP one has had it. I have 2 fairly low cars, so looking at low profile too.
I've read mixed reviews about the SGS ones, but they have a deal on the 3 Ton low profile for £70, so wanted some fresh opinions. Ideally don't want to spend more than £50, but will stretch to this if it's a deal.

ETA: It really needs a detachable handle, as it lives in my house.

This is my current one, it struggles under the 182 (I have to use wood as well, as it's a pebble drive).
I need to get under the Z4 at some point soon, so need something low enough! I figured anything lower than mine would be ok, maybe not.

In the end I didn't do the trackday due to illness and had to buy a jack from a shop as I didn't order in time (due to illness...).
So I got the Halfords one. The SEL said £50, so got £10 knocked off. It gets under the side of the Z no problem but won't get under the front. So I failed, and will end up spending £120 on a proper one soon I imagine.
Lesson learnt. Although I blame being ill...

Bump! The Halfords one finally gave in, it’s leaking, so needs replacing.
Clearance on both cars is about 130mm, but the Z is jacked up from the front quite deep into the bonnet, so needs to low all the way.
SGS looks ok for £110, just wondered if anything else has been spotted on deal?

Was just about to buy the sealey, as it's got the best comments on here, and none in stock anywhere!
Backup is the SGS one, people say it drops slowly, but that is my experience of every jack, and I'd be using axle stands all the time. Not sure if it's a concern or not...
My one that dropped while I watched was SGS and I did a drop-rate test on the Sealey with no discernible movement.Backup is the SGS one, people say it drops slowly, but that is my experience of every jack, and I'd be using axle stands all the time. Not sure if it's a concern or not...
Ok, maybe just wait it out and get the Sealey. I need it to do my Lambda sensor on the 182, but it runs fine, so it could wait.
