Low entry trolley jack recommendations
Discussion
Hi Guys
I'm looking for a decent low entry trolley jack
Having had the basic Halfords 2 tonne one for a few years now and I'm sick of having to use a small scissor jack to lift the car up enough to get the trolley jack under.
Any one have any experience of the following brand:
https://www.sgs-engineering.com/garage-equipment/t...
They look reasonably priced, but the price seems to shoot when going over 2 tonne. I think I've decided I want to invest in atleast 2.5 tonne for future proofing atleast into the next few years.
Any other alternatives.
Looking around the £100 mark for general home mechanic duties and for helping friends.
Thanks

I've got the alu racing one from SGS, very nice bit of kit.
Not had any issues to experience their CS department, but it's built like a tank. The website says "ultra light weight", uhh... Nah.
I decided to go with SGS. I went for a racing style one with the aluminium body, I'm hoping the 10kg weight saving is noticeable. Not had any issues to experience their CS department, but it's built like a tank. The website says "ultra light weight", uhh... Nah.
