Sorry complete novice here.

09 Ford KA (girlfriends car)

The clutch has started making a loud squeaky sound when you press and lift off the pedal. This only seems to start after the car has been running for a little while and continues when the engine is turned off but once its been left for a while it stops. So when you drive the next day the sound is not initially there but starts up again shortly.

Trying to Google it but most things seem to link me to the actual pedal squeaking which isn't the case here, it coming from under the bonnet on the passenger side.

I'm hoping it's just going to be a WD-40 job but not exactly sure where it needs it.

I think the sound is coming from a part that is a tube with a part on the end that looks like it may be inflating and deflating like a pump when the clutch is pressed but I could be wrong.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Sorry it wouldn't let me reply yesterday.

It's on around 59k miles and I don't believe it's ever had a new clutch.

Not sure about the shape sorry.

I've uploaded a video to YouTube of the part where the sound seems to be coming from. It may not exactly be this part but definitely in that region. https://youtu.be/SszgNSTQhH8

Thanks for the responses
