Citroen Relay Starter Motor

Hello,

I think my starter motor on my 2016 Citroen Relay 2.2 needs replacing. All I hear is a click when I turn the key than a few more clicks increasing in frequency and then it stops.

Tried jumping from another vehicle and a battery booster. Does anyone know if I can replace the starter from underneath or is it a front end off job?

Sorry.

The same happens. There is a click, then another which speeds up for about 10 clicks and then nothing.

This was without a jump from another car but when I tried it with another car the same thing happened but the volatge started at 14.5 and dropped to 12.5.

The high current connections, the fused connections on top of the battery?

Starter replaced last night and still no joy. Now when I turn the key, there is a fast clicking but no cranking.
