Ok my elderly father has had his catalytic converter stolen of is 2006 Renault 1.6 petrol Kangoo
In doing so they have taken one of lambda sensor and rendered the rest of the exhaust kaput, so it needs a full exhaust, cat and sensor.
Looking about at the usual car places like GSG, Euro ETC some list the cat but when you email and check the fitment they dont fit OR they say it has not been made yet, same with Ebay
Renault want £600 + vat for the cat but a possible 6 weeks wait, this got me looking at a universal cat and making up the section.
A Mot tester friend said it has to be a type approved one, anyone every fitted such a cat to a normal road car ?

Get yourself on the Renault Kangoo Facebook pages. There’s always Kangoos being broken on there. I suspect a Clio one could be adapted to fit, although I am aware of the transmission tunnel for the prop shaft on the Kangoo.
