Hi guys,

Can anyone help with locating the fan for the AC condenser for a 2016 Jimny?

It works whilst moving, but blows hot when stationary, which leads me to think that it's the fan. Any help appreciated.

I had a rented Citroen C1 for a weekend in Malaga. It seemed you could have forward motion or aircon, but not both at the same time. No help in your circumstance. The fan would be at the front of the vehicle somewhere! HTH.

Thanks normalbloke!

It's under warranty, so I took it to the dealer. Weirdly enough, when I had a look, there seemed to be no evidence of a fan! So perhaps, it's just been designed that way. The dealer gave me a call saying they replaced the AC gas and that fixed the situation, but I'm a bit skeptical.

Did you ask them where it had leaked out from? Aircon doesn’t just need regassing unless there is a leak. They should have hopefully leak tested it with nitrogen before adding gas.

The ac fan will be shared with the made radiator fan rather then a separate unit like most cards on the road

Unless you mean the cabin blower fan to blow the hot/cold sir around the cabin

I didn't ask, but from what they told me "if the AC gas is low, it doesn't work well when idling, only when it's running", I figured they either just do this all of the time with AC issues and they assumed that I'm totally ignorant. I'm picking it up today, so I'll give it a test with a thermometer.

Thanks Chris32345. The weird thing is, at first glance, I didn't see anything resembling a radiator fan (not that I was having a long, hard look). Google images don't appear to help, with some engine bays having an obvious fan, and others don't.
