People waving from bridges

Not me - but my 11 year old daughter delights on waving to lorry's as we pass over the M18 on one of our dog walk routes... It seem's that most if not all drivers respond - either with a wave, or as far as she is concerned even better with a toot...

First of all it brings a smile to her face - thankyou!

Now then she asked me why all the lorry drivers respond... Initially I thought it was because you are all so bloody cheerful. Then I woke up...

So I promised to ask you instead! She is awaiting with a hopeful smile
