In theory trucks could get away with 65mph if you take the plus 10% rule.
EU law - which we still have to follow much to the annoyance of NP&E - limits trucks to 56mph. So that's what trucks are limited to. It'd be interesting to see if trucks that are only used in UK runs are limited to 60mph in future or keep the 56mph limit and whether upping the limit to 60mph could see more elephant racing as UK trucks attempt to overtake EU trucks?https://www.gov.uk/speed-limits
