MOT tests for caravans

More meddling from Eurocrats, this time the propose the introduction of an MOT for caravans. I had heard about this particular bit of nonsense a year or two ago, now its raised its ugly head once again. Unfortunately it has passed stage one and headed for stage two, despite our Euro M.P'S objections to the proposal. Should it pass stage two it only remains to implement yet more manic legislation.

I find that my combo would be in the odd situation of my car (1928 vintage) not requiring an MOT, yet my caravan (1929 Eccles) would require an MOT!
Yes we need lots more H&S because none of us are, apparently, able to use common sense.
