Snowdonia sites.
Discussion
Following on from this thread... https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... that resulted in a great trip to Pembrokeshire we're now looking to head to Snowdonia this summer.
So, if there are any family (and dog) friendly sites that are not too big, have decent toilets (the wife's demand) and are close to a decent pub I'd love to hear about them. We prefer a quieter site so don't want a club-house etc.
Thanks in advance..

Yep I stayed here a couple of nights to go mountain biking, good size pitches, clean toilet block and good showers. Lots of dogs around (and frogs!). Just make sure you get there on time or before they close as they weren't very helpful when I said I would be a bit late. Also didn't see any kids around, felt like a very grown up site e.g. was very quiet, so not sure I would want to bring my kids who never seem to be quiet when camping. But great location, walkable to nice little town, plenty of fast food places, cafes and pubs, also Llanberis is easily my favourite place in NW, so beautiful by the lake.
Many thanks. We may well have a night near Shrewsbury on the way up (we used to live there so will catch up with some folks to break the trip up) so shouldn't arrive too late.
A quiet site is OK by us, we've stayed on some lively sites before and when there's still kids riding around on bikes at 2300 along with the associated music etc it can get tiring. Our kids will be tired anyway once they've been out on the hills.
