Pitched up late tonight on a busy site with the EHU points a heck of a long way away.
Dug the ‘long cable’ out, its rarely used, but is a big thick one (ooerr) I think about 30m. It reached but only if I went direct though two other pitches!
Bugger.
After a bit of thought, I suddenly wondered if it could plugs the long one, into the shorter 15 m one, as an extension. And by Jove, it works.
Don’t know why I should be surprised, but I’ve never thought about it before, but it does work. Even found a traffic cone to hud the ‘join’ under and wrapped it up in a bag too.

Worth remembering if anyone else falls foul of a pitch in the middle of flipping nowhere!

You can also get something like this to protect it.

How does the price compare to a traffic cone, though!

I just met another chap with the same dilemma and he never knew you could plug one into another either. It’s so obvious, but I can remember ever seeing it!

I’ve never had to use the 25m one, in fact I had to pull the garage apart to find it! I suppose in that respect, I’d never had to think about putting the 15m and 25m one together, as I’d always been within 15 m of a point!
Actually have a 5m one on board too that lives in same bag as the 15m.
