Hi All,

I've been pottering around these forums for a while and I saw a similar post looking for an editor for a sci-fi novel so I thought I'd post this here.

I work closely with a nexus of published authors and poets and one of our members is looking for someone to draw a number of illustrations for his 100,000+ word fantasy novel. The story isn't finished but its scheduled to reach fruition in the next 3 months, after which they'll be a grace period for editing and proof reading of unspecified duration BUT once our nexus has okayed it, we expect it to be published relatively quickly by our dear friends at HarperCollins Publishers LLC. It goes without saying that obviously if you're selected to be our illustrator you'll be entitled to a share of the spoils.

We aren't looking for the next Van Gogh, we're taking submissions from literally anybody who's willing to try their hand at it. The drawings will be mostly mythical creatures / monsters. We were thinking of maybe a series of cross sections like something from an artist's sketchbook though we've also seen some promising results from charcoal prints. These are only suggestions, please draw/paint in whatever style suits you.

Anybody who knows their way around a pencil and fancies giving it a go, reply here with your email and I'll email you across a portfolio of descriptions and reference pictures. Thanks in advance guys smile
