A few years ago I purchased the "Centenary Edition. The Complete Chronicles of Conan" and I've finally got round to re-reading them for the 1st time in 35/40 years eek

The thing that has struck me is that in the 1930's when these were published they were pulp fiction - these days though the prose seems to be from a bygone era. The language rich and free from profanity, though (by today's standards) quite clunky.

Has anyone else re-read these and have any thoughts?

I've always enjoyed them, got a copy on the bookshelf and Kull, Exile Of Atlantis on the Kindle (very similar, if you like one, you'll like the other.)
Cheers for that - will have to give 'em a try
