Is anybody else hoping for a strong performance from Ferrari this weekend? I know we all want Lewis to go and win the championship but I have a feeling that if Merc finish 1-2 on Sunday it will be a sign of what to expect for the 2nd half of the season. Mercedes seem to developing the car at a faster rate than Ferrari at the moment..

They're changing the pedal box so looks like they're prepping the car for DiResta.
With only 10 mins left of FP3 he'll get very little time in the car, if any.
Didn't FP3 end at 11am?With only 10 mins left of FP3 he'll get very little time in the car, if any.
Anyway Ferrari are looking untouchable round here today. What happened to The red bulls pace. I know Riciardo had his problems but max is off pace too. Hamilton can't get his tyres switched on. It's going to be an interesting qualifying.

Has anyone calculated what the 107% time for DiResta will be? As in, what time will a driver need to beat to push DiResta outside 107%, and has Hamilton already done it?
107% is currently a 1:22.07 (based on hamiltons 1:16.7. Diresta was in the 1:19s so quite safe.

Nicely said. I think the chance of a return to a full time seat for him remain very close to zero.
Would it have been Susie Woolf in the seat a couple of years ago?
Williams had to use a 3rd driver previously and from memory Susie Wolfe didn't hold a super licence so someone else got the job (can't remember who). Would it have been Susie Woolf in the seat a couple of years ago?

Meh... looks like I am the only one who thinks Kvyat was treated harshly? I mean I can understand the grid penalty as that seems to be standard practice for anyone significantly impeding another driver's fast lap... but what is with the penalty point?
The FIA even acknowledge what are clearly mitigating factors and then claim they aren't mitigating at all!
Kvyat has become the black sheep / whipping boy just as other drivers have over the years (Grosjean for example)... yes he has made mistakes that deserved penalties at the time, but now it has got to a stage where everyone is watching him like a hawk and all transgressions, however minor, are seeing him slapped with heavy penalties when other drivers would either get away with it or get a lesser penalty.
I mean it is ridiculous when you compare what Vettel did in Baku and the following punishment to what Kvyat has racked up penalty points for...
Even the sky commentator called him the torpedo yesterday. The FIA even acknowledge what are clearly mitigating factors and then claim they aren't mitigating at all!
