Thinking of doing Spa this year. Have searched around and it seems that traffic is a major issue on the approach roads so it might spoil a hotel approach, if I could get one for a reasonable price. Camping reviews are all over the place, but I want to walk to the track within 20-30 mins, have proper facilities, not too bothered about food or bars, and don't mind good spirited fun loving people, up to a point, but want to get some peaceful sleep too.. So

1. Is the traffic as bad as some say or have people got good experience in staying in hotels 20-30 mins away from the track?
2. Are there recommended sites for the more restrained amongst us?. Happy to take my own stuff or Pre-erected is good too. Anyone used Festitent? They appear to have a good offering?

Thanks and sorry if it's all been said before... I did search.

Thanks for the suggestions. CampingF1 looks good though I found some negative reviews from a few years ago, so I'll take those as being out of date.
