Again Max went from near the back to battling the leader with his renault engine.
Meanwhile the bullred honda was doing its usual bumping around the back job but
apparently its better than renaults effort.
The current love in with the honda lump seems to be driver by the fear that f1 nearly lost
their contribution to the show (money)
Deiter redbull know he wont be beating mercedes and ferrari in the next few years so why waste hundreds of millions paying renault.
Dummies at mclaren should have accepted this and got on with their 10 year program with honda.

New rules next year will limit some of redbulls traditional chassis advantages plus Ric in a renault with a brand new engine concept means I expect Renault to be ahead of the exploding redbulls as often as not.
Still there was that mystery honda result in bahrain...

Renault wins again in dominant fashion.
Honda lump (better than the renault according to red bull) 2 laps down this time.

Renault lump nearly wins again. Who would have thought you could outdrag a mercedes and ferrari up that hill and pass at the first corner.
The assumption seems to be that if the Renault car is so slow its because of the engine but its just they and mclaren cant exploit the engine fully.
Good luck next year red bull and try to be nice to your partners.

Verstappen driving through the choking oil fumes from his new engine for 2019 was a highlight on sunday.

cant really blame Honda as how can you catch up?
You either go faster or the others slow down.
Why can they develop faster than the others who have years of knowledge they are building on.
An engine freeze would have been the solution 4 years ago on everyone but honda.
This is why no new engines are coming in regardless of pundit and expert cobblers.
Its sort of nice to see Honda with a better team after suffering with Mclaren but I doubt they can do much
in the next 2 years.
Maybe podiums with is more than would have happened with Mclaren

Honda are in F1 to develop their hybrid tech and showcase themselves around the world. I doubt the UK car plant has anything to do with it.
You wonder what sort of moronic blather came out of pm may and her team when the Japanese pm was in town a few month ago though.
