Had an interesting email from a polling company, I am on the panel with.
We are looking for people who will be watching the 2019 Formula 1 Grand Prix season and are interested in using brand new technology to analyse your experience.
The new technology will help F1 improve the viewer experience using the biometric meter which will analyse your galvanic skin response (hand persipration/sweat) and heart rate throughout the race
What is required from you
If you are selected we will ask you to download an APP that communicates with the biometric device
We will send you the biometric device that you will need to wear on your hand whilst watching the races
We need you to watch as many races as possible this season (there are 21 races this season)
The first race will be on Sunday March 17th - note this is the Australian GP so will be around 5am UK time. Other race times will vary throughout the season.
You must watch ALL races on Sky Sports F1 live and not any other channel or streaming website
You must watch the races live and not a replay etc
You must watch the races at home i.e. not in a pub/social environment
The biometric devices will be on loan to you for the duration of this study so we would expect you to take care of them and we will arrange for the devices to be collected once the study is over.
If you are selected there is an opportunity to earn £20 per race and as mentioned there are 21 races so a total of £420 (these will be paid to your PopulusLive account in the usual way)
REMEMBER – this is not a one off exercise, we will need you to watch the majority of the races in the season live as it is happening. If you are selected and we see you are not actively participating we will take away any points you have earned and arrange for us to collect our biometric equipment.
Sadly can't take them up on it as I don't have Sky.
