Watching F1 on my own

I have watched F1 and various other motorsport for 50 years.
I have tried watching with mates but they will not keep quiet during the race.
As I get older, and the cars become quicker, I find it harder to keep track, particularly with pit stops.
Anybody else watch on their own, and happy to do so?
