Anyway Dani super competitive against a team mate, not against the field IMO, but that might just be the Red Bull competitive interbreeding.

He’s from Sud Tyrol (above the lakes & Trentino on the modern Austrian boarder).

Remember ‘modern’ Italy is still a pretty young country for western European standards, Romans are Romans (and so on).

The area where he is from is 60/70km from what we know is Modern Austria, and let’s just say (you can do your own research on the region about the old days and specifically 1918 & 1945) it’s been an area of importance in recent modern history.

It’s pretty much 99% German speaking region with the road signs in German, hence the accent.

If I was team principle I’d know who I’d back with the budget in that scenario.
