Feel sick just reading what Horner and Marko said about marshalls. What a kick in the teeth for all the volunteers (remember firefighting Grosjean's fireball etc) who try to keep competitors safe. Then only a mealy mouthed forced apology.

Anyone who has competed or stood trackside with a bunch of flags should appreciate how scumbag Horner and Marko's behaviour has become, and blaming pressure of competition simply aggravates their offence.

Love a good competition, but RB have lost my respect.

Not just Horner either, Marko followed up the comments about a “rogue marshal”, and David Couthard (still on RBR payroll) added his own on C4.
Had this been under UK MSA bluebook rules then Horner and Marko should
10.1.3. Treat all competitors, marshals and officials equally with respect.
10.2. For the purposes of these General Regulations Motorsport UK will not tolerate any form of abuse or aggression towards officials, marshals, spectators and competitors.
10.2.1. Motorsport UK and the National Court will impose the most stringent sanction against any transgression of 10.2 and may suspend all Licences (H.3.1.2) pending investigation and/or referral to the National Court.

Some UK CoCs would have suspended and invited a competitor to leave the paddock for the remainder of the event, and quite rightly too. So what example does Horner's little pep talk resulting in begrudging mealy mouthed apology followed by Marko's petrol on the fire set for mere mortals' motorsport? Not exactly the "most stringent sanction".

Marko digs even deeper with extended gob at officials.

FIA or race director cannot ever control whether a track marshall, who is judge of fact in what he witnesses, decides to wave a warning flag to competitors. These marshalls are non partisan and should not suffer abuse from over-anxious entitled "hockey dads" like Marko.

For all fan boys out there, I would be equally scathing if any other team management was meting out abuse to officials.
