Spa to go "the American Way" to keep F1???

I live in Canada and have a home in the US for winter so not Anti-American.
Yet, when I think of Spa with its great beauty and history I would hate it to be an automotive Disneyland.
It is one of the greatest place I have ever had the privilege to drive on. If it loses F1,then so be it. The Nordschleife lost F1 and is doing fine, and the stupid attempt to add all the family nonsense there failed.
Better that Spa does not yield too far.
