Round 16 and we’re in Monza, a proper classic circuit. Car set-up is similar to Spa, so expect more Max/Red Bull domination and Mercedes to be back in trouble. It will be interesting to see if Ferrari can get through the weekend at least doing the basics right.

I’m no fan of Ricciardo, but it was sad to see his performance last weekend, I hope things improve here but as Monza needs the one thing the 2022 Mclaren doesn’t have- a high top speed- this is extremely unlikely. It's possible that Barrichello's 2004 lap record could be beaten this year.

Here’s to another great race.

Date(s): Friday 9 to Sunday 11 September 2022.

It would be nice, if only for the sake of variety, to see someone else win this week.
I wonder if the poll will be 100% Verstappen……!

RB 1-2 with a 1 sec lap advantage

Ferrari vs Alpine for 3/4. LeClerc to DNF.

Williams in Q3 and Top 10 finish.

Binotto metaphorically lynched by the media on Monday.
This is a very good prediction I think

I missed RB's new engine cover in Holland- so much going on with the over-body airflow with this car, fantastic to see

Perez will be running with a cut down rear flap in FP1, Max will have the same as Spa

Didn’t see much of yesterday, but it looks like another Max/RB win but maybe not pole. RB long runs on mediums look very strong.

Very impressed with Merc and McLaren, I thought they would be nowhere near on qualifying pace. Should be a more exciting Saturday than Sunday.

Come on Max!

fk up with the National anthem there. Shame as he's arguably one of the most talented singers ever.
I’m still recovering from the Dutch one!

He did more than that. But where will it take him?
Williams seat next year I’d imagine

Only if they conclude he's better than albon. It's pretty clear that latifi isn't there based on performance so there's no reason to think that being made a mockery of today will change anything.
Latifi is toast. The increasing value of teams, & the the ability to run profitably under the cost cap, puts emphasis on performance. It was going to be Albon/Piastri, now likely Albon/De Vries. That looks a good line up to me.

  • Edited to add: and then my beloved Williams will start to look like a race team again biggrin
