OK, time to go again.

I'll start with Hamilton to Ferrari on a 3 year deal displacing Sainz.

Apparently there is some weight behind a HAM/LEC swaperooney…. Says a man I know whose brother drinks in a pub where a bloke once visited for lunch with his family and who alluded to the fact that he may be a member of a F1 team which may currently employ the services of one of the drivers referred to above….
My hypothesis is if you are in Lewis's shoes,

  • Do you trust Mercedes to turn it around? What is their vision? Is it a 12 month journey, 23, 36?
  • Surely you would take the call from Maranello, even if it is just for leverage?

Hamilton’s new pad in Monaco is nearing completion he might well need a large signing on bonus etc.
He's worth about £300m, I doubt he needs a signing on bonus.

Newey has a shares in RB Technologies, it aint happening (not to mention he's seen looking at all the other cars at multiple times every weekend).
Also he is already part time at RB and has created a very strong aero dept in his wake (if you will forgive the pun)
