The NIssan GTR dashboard

The Nissan GTR is a great looking car. But is it just me that thinks the dashboard seems like a bit of an after thought? It just looks like it has been wedged in with the corners sticking out and dull looking dials. I wonder why they didn't make it similar to that of a 350z which looks pretty stylish. I accept that the whole car is about function, and that even older GTRs were pretty bland inside but It doesn't seem like the dash board of a £60k car. I must ad though, that I've not actually seen the interior of a GTR in real life so maybe the pictures don't do it justice! This all just in my opinion of course!

. I think that if I could ever afford one I'd still consider a used one purely based on what it's capable of, but as a brandnew car I think the interior would bug me a bit. The main two things that let it down for me are the central switch panel, and also the corners of the dash. Rather than flow nicely into the doors the stick out making it look as though it's dash that has been designed for a different car.
