Headturning Car at 20 (3yr NCB)
Discussion
Hello all,
First post here, looking at buying a new car. Bit of history;
My last car was a 1999 Black Range Rover P38 4.6 V8 HSE and that was an absoloute beauty. I did it up loads and it looked great with tinted windows.
Anyway, looking at getting a car that is a bit of a headturner. I will have 3 years NCB later this month and will be 20 years old.
I want a car that is a headturner, like the Range Rover was. Anyone got any suggestions?
I dont really care about speed or acceleration much, got a 1000cc 135bhp sports bike that takes care of that.
Just want a car that looks awesome, I can do it up (tastefully), sounds really great too!
Cars I have been considering; Caterham 7s, Supra, Subaru, BMW 325/330, American Muscle Cars.
Cheers,

Budget, dont really wanna push over 10k.
P38 did about 11mpg around town as it was a big engine and petrol. It had a £2,000 top of the range LPG system fitted to it though which let me produce around 35-40mpg (roughly), also had spring suspension £800, Vogue tyres/wheels and dual side exhausts (magnaflow) which meant it absoloutely GROWLED and you could hear it coming. Such a great car. But it is sold now and I want something else.
I know you cant really buy much of a car under 4k, so yeah, budget would be 5-10k.
LOVE this, but it's out of budget and it's already flawless and done up and its in america. But I am thinking maybe this sort of style.

bmw 325/330 at 20 is a headturner.
I dont know, I just want a cool car that is different and not like every other car around. Just want something unique that I can work on and say that is mine, without it being some cheap looking ricer wagon.
Headturner for girls/guys/kids/adults/grandparents. I dont care, I just want a care that stands out and looks sexy

I say roughly 35-40 because when i used petrol only, it costs my about 200 quid a month. With LPG (autogas) it was around 60 quid or so a month.
lpg is 70p a litre and it is much better.
I did consider and was looking hard at the old 1995-1998 black porsche cabriolets 911. They are great, but thought insurance maybe an issue and if that wasnt then the price of when it inevitably goes wrong would be.
